Rising Together - 2026 Flood Recovery Luncheon
Liberty is supporting Farm Angels’ Rising Together 2026 Luncheon in Julia Creek following the recent floods. The event brings the community together to reconnect, recover and support local farming families.

Our support of the Farm Angels upcoming “Rising Together” 2026 Flood Recovery Luncheon carries even greater meaning following the devastating flooding that has impacted Julia Creek and surrounding communities. In moments like these, regional communities show their true strength.
We could not have done what we did without the incredible support of Kylie and Lindsay Davison from Julia Creek Tyre Centre. They have done the heavy lifting on our behalf - stepping up, coordinating locally and partnering with us during the flooding response. Their willingness to jump in, support logistics and work alongside Liberty during such a demanding time has been nothing short of outstanding.
After a disaster of this scale, recovery isn’t just about infrastructure, it’s about people.
It’s about giving communities a chance to come together, to regroup after hard times, and to step away even briefly from the ongoing clean-up and stress. The Rising Together event provides exactly that.
It’s an opportunity to:
Bring people together
Create space to reconnect and support one another
Raise awareness and practical support through Farm Angels

Liberty Rural Richmond & Cloncurry proudly supporting the Rising Together Flood Recovery Luncheon alongside Julia Creek Tyre Centre.
Farm Angels continues to provide real, tangible assistance to farming families - from prepaid fuel and grocery cards to financial and wellbeing support. Their work directly eases pressure during times of hardship.
Julia Creek has faced a massive challenge - but its strength, resilience and unity have been just as powerful.
We are proud to support Farm Angels, proud to support Rising Together, and proud to work alongside local champions like Kylie and Lindsay Davison who remind us what community truly means.
We encourage everyone in the community to get behind this important cause, come along, and take the opportunity to reconnect after what has been a challenging time for many.
It’s a chance to step away from the ongoing recovery efforts, catch up with familiar faces, and show support for those who need it most. Nick and Andrew, two of our team members from Richmond, will be in attendance on the day and look forward to connecting with the community.
